About Us
The Good Wine Shop is, simply, a celebration of good wine. Our boutique online shop offers a highly curated selection of South Africa’s finest lesser-known wines, hand sourced from “behind the cellar door”.
All our wines are expertly chosen for both the experimental and the more discerning wine lover. We seek out the hidden gems, the little-knowns, the award winners and the hot new kids on the block. Expect to find small-batch collections, limited-run cellar experiments, maverick ‘concoctions’ and plenty more.
What drives us is to find and present you with the wines you’re unlikely to find in the supermarket or even at your local liquor store. Ultimately, the Good Wine Shop seeks to offer you excellent wines at competitive prices, with the convenience of delivery to your door directly from the wine cellar.

The Good Wine Shop curators are seasoned wine connoisseurs who understand and appreciate what makes a good wine as much as what makes for a good wine to drink.
