The Myburgh family at Joostenberg believe that they’re just temporary custodians of the earth and that it is their privilege to call it home. As such, they strive to honour the land in the way they produce wine.
This Paarl-based wine estate producers superior quality wines, distinct in character, while treading as lightly on the environment as possible. Joostenberg Wine Estate converted their entire farm to organic production in 2012 and are certified with Control Union Certificates.
Winemaker Tyrrel Myburgh makes a collection of both classic and elegant wines under the Joostenberg Estate range as well as some more experimental, small-batch wines (usually different every vintage) released under different labels.
