Please note that during Christmas & Easter season time, delays can be experienced due to increased freight volumes & public holidays. Occasionally packages return to us as “undelivered.” Should this occur with your order, Good Wine Shop will make every attempt to contact you for the arrangement of re-shipment.

    5. Processing of orders

Orders will only leave the cellar once we have confirmed your payment and received the amount in full.

  2. Refunds and Returns Policy

    Cancellations

Cancellation of your order after being either packed or dispatched, will incur a 10% handling and restocking fee calculated on the value of your order. Such fee is for the customer’s account. Notice of your cancellation must be in writing within 7 days from the date on your invoice. The original purchaser must sign all cancellation requests. Cancellations are accepted only once goods return to our cellar undamaged in the original packaging, within 14 calendar days and for the customer’s account.
Customer satisfaction is the main priority of Good Wine Shop. Should you find any wine purchased to be defective, please contact us and we will endeavour to replace the wine, should a replacement be available. If the wine is no longer in stock, the customer’s account is credited the purchase price. Alternatively, a refund is made into the bank account used at checkout.
As we are unable to ensure temperature control once an order leaves the cellar, please ensure that you contact us within 2 days of receipt of your order. After this period, the customer tacitly confirms the goods as accepted in good order.

    Incorrect orders

If you have not received the correct order without any prior notification from us, we will be happy to exchange your wine for another wine of equal or lesser value or refund the original amount charged, provided the wine is returned in its original condition. Due to our strict temperature control standards, goods must be returned within 5 calendar days.

    Note on Returns

Good Wine Shop recommends that you use The Courier Guy couriers or another courier that offers parcel tracking for all returns. Should you choose to use a courier that does not offer a tracking facility, and the goods are lost, then any refund or return will be null and void. Please note that we are not in a position to exchange or refund any wines that are not to your personal preference or taste. You are welcome to contact us should you require advice on wine selection prior to your purchase of wine.

    Breakages and Shortages

Please report any breakages or shortages to Good Wine Shop within 2 working days from date of delivery. Any request made after this period is determined at the sole discretion of, Good Wine Shop who reserve the right to refuse any replacements once the above period has lapsed.

    Vintages

Should we be unable to supply a specific vintage offered on the Site, we will exchange it for a different vintage of the same wine wherever possible. Should this not be acceptable to you, you may exchange your wine for another wine of equal or lesser value, or receive a refund of the purchase price paid. Your money will be credited to the same bank account used to purchase the wine.
